Will God give you burden too heavy to carry?

A friend of mine ask me something about burdens and it got me to thinking.  Will God ever give us a burden that is to heavy for us to carry?  Sometimes when we stumble from the load we may think that he does, but let me assure you that God will never burden his children with so much that he can't lead them through it.

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jesus taught us that if we will only trust in him and come to him with our needs and our burdens that he will be there and see us through.
Matthew 11
28:Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29:Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30: For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

In times of great sorrow in our lives when we feel that the burden is weighing us down and that we can't carry the load, Jesus will be there to lighten it and give us the strength we need.  We can run to him and he will lift us up.  Remember that it is not about how a heavy a load you can carry, it's about how heavy a load Jesus can help you carry.

Psalms 18:2
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
2 Corinthians 12
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
