Israel is forever

Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 KJV

The words of Isaiah gives hope, peace and tranquility to those that tend to worry to much. We serve a Mighty God who is able to do all things. He spoke the world into existence and with his own hands he formed mankind from the dust of the ground. Taking care of a one small nation like Israel is such a small thing for him. With the wave of his hand, he could wipe the enemies of his people from the face of the earth. I am thinking this morning that I may not be able to do much, but I serve a God that can and will. God established the land of Israel and God promised King David that he would forever have a descendent to sit upon the throne. Nothing that mankind does can ever change the word of God.

2 Samual 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

11 And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the Lord telleth thee that he will make thee an house.

12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
